1b. You can always express your disagreement without resorting into violence. (No)

You can always express your disagreement without resorting to violence. (Yes)

(“Result in” is a phrasal verb that means “to cause a particular thing to happen.” Similarly, to “result in something” is an idiom that means to “cause something to happen.” However, “resort to” means to make use of something, especially something bad, as a means of achieving an objective because there is no other possible solution.)

2. He enjoyed during the last holidays. (No)

He enjoyed himself during the last holidays. (Yes)

(“Enjoy” is a transitive verb; it requires an object.)

3a. The armed robber was killed by a gun. (No)

The armed robber was killed with a gun. (Yes)

3b. The news was broken with a radio reporter. (No)

The news was broken by a radio reporter. (Yes)

(Usually, “by” is used to refer to the doer of an action while “with” is used to refer to the instrument used to perform the action.)
