CFP: Essays on Identity and Social Justice

Diálogos Journal is a non-profit international publication on identity and social justice, based in Toronto, Canada. We are dedicated to fostering inter-cultural exchange of ideas and experiences, aimed at building understanding in Canada and internationally.

With this in mind, we invite you to submit essays and photojournalism for our print issue, which will be published in January 2018. For the upcoming issue, we are looking forward to reading research-based submissions providing insight on a wide range of subjects, such as race, ethnicity, gender, collective memory, migration policies.

Although we are particularly interested in essays assuming an interdisciplinary approach, we welcome submissions from a broad spectrum of disciplines, including social and political studies, anthropology, ethnography, literature studies, art history, law, gender studies, philosophy.

Submission Guideline

Papers should not exceed 2,000 words, and can be submitted only in English.

Keep in mind we use Chicago-style of citation with notes and bibliography.
