The peacock is characterised by its beautiful feathers. (Yes)

(“Characterised” is usually used with “by”, not “with”.)

2a. The mistakes of today may result into regrets tomorrow. (No)

The mistakes of today may result to regrets tomorrow. (No)

The mistakes of today may result in regrets tomorrow. (Yes)

2b. You may disagree with us but you don’t resort into violence. (No)

You may disagree with us but you don’t resort to violence. (Yes)

(As verbs, “result” is used with “in” while “resort” is used with “to”.)

3a. I need a walk to breathe in some fresh airs. (No)

I need a walk to breathe in some fresh air. (Yes)

3b. He plays his game without air. (No)

He plays his game without airs. (Yes)

(Though “air” is an uncountable noun when it has to do with atmosphere, “airs” means “pride” or “an annoyingly affected and condescending manner”.)
