(To “run for dear life” is a fixed expression meaning “run as fast as possible”. No part of it can therefore be altered.)

2. Write your father; he misses you a lot. (No)

Write to your father; he misses you a lot. (Yes)

(You write a letter, an essay or a book; you don’t write a person. So, you won’t “write me”, you would rather “write to me”.)

3. Apart from being my classmate, he is my tight friend. (No)

Apart from being my classmate, he is my bosom friend. (Yes)

Apart from being my classmate, he is my close friend. (Yes)
