  1. He is an executive of the union. (No)

He is a member of the executive (committee/ council) of the union. (Yes)

(Members of the leadership committee are not individually or collectively referred to as “executive(s)”. “Executives” refers to individuals in the context of business or administration. E.g. My friend is now one of the top executives of NNPC.)

  1. You need to wash your underwears. (No)

You need to wash your underwear. (Yes)

  1. They got married two years ago buy they have no issues/ offsprings yet. (No)

They got married two years ago but they have no issue/offspring yet. (Yes)

You do not pluralise “issue” and “offspring” as they are uncountable nouns.
