The West Association is inviting applications for their  Pre- Fellowship. In the interest of enhancing transatlantic exchange and collaboration, the West African Association, with funding from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US State Department, holds an annual competition for Pre-doctoral fellowships.

 The WARA Pre- Fellowship, for 2 to 3 month’s in West Africa during the of 2018, is for the purpose of preparing a proposal or carrying out research related to the completion of another terminal degree program (e.g., MFA or MPH).

Awardees are required to secure IRB clearance from their institution or proof that their research is ruled exempt. Upon completion of their fellowships, grantees are required to submit a detailed report of their work and findings. This report will subsequently be published in the biannual WARA newsletter.
